In its twelfth year, the Wisconsin Film Festival presents a broad range of independent American and world cinema (narrative, documentary, experimental, shorts), restorations and revivals, and locally made pictures from Wisconsin filmmakers. The festival plays in eight theaters, all within walking distance, in the heart of the state’s capital city.
The 2010 Wisconsin Film Festival will run from Wednesday, April 14 through Sunday, April 18. The Opening Night Film will screen on Thursday, April 15, as has been the tradition (title announced when the full program is announced on March 18).
The 2010 theater partners are:
♥ Wisconsin Union Theatre
♥ Frederic March Play Circle
♥ Chazen Museum of Art
♥ UW Cinematheque
♥ Orpheum Theatre (including the Stage Door)
♥ Madison Museum of Contemporary Art
♥ Monona Terrace Convention Center
More information about these theaters, tickets, film listings, and more will
be available on March 18.
